EFF Condemns "Barbaric Acts Of An Illegitimate Family Government" Of eSwatini

The Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) party led by Julius Malema has condemned what it described as barbaric acts of an illegitimate family government. The ongoing civil unrest in eSwatini started in June when pro-democratic protests started thereby shaking Africa’s last absolute monarch. Pindula News presents EFF’s statement.

EFF STATEMENT ON THE CONTINUED PRO-DEMOCRACY PROTEST IN eSWATINI

Friday, 15 October 2021

The EFF has taken note of the continued brutality of King Mswati’s regime against the children, women, and men of eSwatini and condemns with the strongest words it deserves, such barbaric acts of an illegitimate family government.

The EFF calls on the South African government and African Union to once more reign on the despotic king and his family cohorts. There will be and should be consequences against a government that lifts up arms of war against its civilian population.

We further call on the youth and students of eSwatini to intensify their struggle and shut down the regime of the Dlamini family until they negotiate a transition to popular democratic government or flee the country.

The battle cry of pro-democracy activists in eSwatini is loud enough to trigger the attention and actions of the international community against the imbecility of King Mswati and his family.

The EFF commits to responding decisively against the regime of King Mswati soonest should the continued brutality against protestors not be stopped forthwith.
